The skills of cabinetry, silversmithing, and jewelry making have been combined to create the products of JStrait Designs. I work with the natural beauty and character of the wood, silver pewter metal, and semi-precious stones in creating one of a kind, timeless pieces.

Sunburst Silver pewter is a metal that is formulated from a mixture of fine silver combined with tin and bismuth. It is a low heat metal that can be worked without damaging the wood, and its luster does not diminish with time. I frequently decorate the pewter by hand, engraving designs that will enhance the metal and highlight the wood.
